Day 1.2 03.07.2021
And now for the real thing. We had been very busy over the last weeks in the surgery but also with organising the Heavensride. This is a charity ride for our local Hospice that raised 40.000 euro!
At home there was a lot of work to be done and the garden needed some attention before our 2 weeks absence.
The kids dropped us off at our local station for the 16.15 connection to Maastricht.
After an uneventful train ride we arrived at Valkenburg in the evening, where we were reunited with the tandem. And found a good Greek restaurant. In the evening we watched England’s easy win over Ukraine before going to bed.
